The History Behind Capsule Media
apsule Media started as just a video production company called NextGen Productions but eventually closed it’s doors and years later after learning more about the digital age, Capsule Media was created.
Adam Gorman is the founder of Capsule Media and has a video production background dating back to 2009. Deciding to help small businesses that lacked the capabilities to produce professional videos or establish a video marketing campaign to grow their business without breaking the bank. His love and compassion for helping others is his greatest asset that he brings to Capsule Media.
In 2019, Adam rediscovered his passion for filmmaking, thanks to his-time friend Caleb Webber, a local Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky film director. Their first short film together was for Winterfilm 2019, called Up Stream. Adam then assisted Caleb as a crew member and as his primary editor on short films like A Cue to Stop, De-Listed, Enjoy Your Stay, Cleanser, and many more. In Frightfilm 2022, Adam Gorman won his first film award for Best Editor for Enjoy Your Stay, marking the first of many awards for both filmmakers.
Adam decided to make his comeback in directing films and signed up for Frightfilm 2023, creating his short film, The Conduit. The Conduit was nominated for Best Make-Up, Best Poster, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography, Best Directing and Best Picture, winning Best Poster and Best Picture. A few months later, Adam directed his next short film, Disillusioned, for Winterfilm2024, which was nominated for Best Original Song, Best Visual Effects, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Lead Actor.
To this day Adam continues to improve his craft as both a videographer and film maker by being apart of multiple other projects outside of Capsule Media as a crew member of some sort or editor.
